March 2: Looking into the Real Nature of Bees. talk by Roger Druitt, Lewes Sussex. Lewes Beekeepers are privileged to welcome Roger Druitt to speak about his spiritual-scientific exploration of the life of the bee colony, with particular emphasis on the relationship between bees and human  beings.  Roger Druitt is a priest of The Christian Community  who has been keeping bees in accordance with biodynamic principles for many years. March 6: Natural Beekeeping - an introduction. Explore what is involved in caring for bees responsibly, how much time is needed, which hives lend themselves to bee-friendly management and what bees need from us in order to thrive.  The principles of natural/biodynamic beekeeping will be discussed and demonstrated in the setting of an established biodynamic farm.
